9km commute this morning across London from Paddington train station to Tower Bridge. It's the first time I've tried it but it's a great route across Hyde Park, Green Park, past Buckingham Palace, across St James Park then over Westminster Bridge and along the South Bank past the London Eye and Globe theatre.
Not at all cold, and just after heavy showers, I ran roads up to the Coastguard Stn @ Burbo Bank, then down the soft sand on the beach & home via Crosby Baths. 5.2 miles
3 m, felt hard, fairly new to this and recovering from a 5 m on Wed, but i've been up since 03:30 and full of a cold, but didnt want another day off! so plenty of walk breaks.
10k round Barton upon Humber, not used to running up and down hills so I was knackered by the end of it, and twinged my left knee, iced and strapped. Really enjoyed the run even though it took me 64 minutes.
6miles this afternoon, nice bright weather but really windy for 3 miles going out and uphill over flyover but made it seem piece of cake on way back home a good run today
6 steady miles this morning in the dark and drizzle. My perfect running conditions and throughly enjoyable. Took a long time but I live in hope that I will get faster!
ooh lots of new faces-good to see the bug catching more people!
1st of the Winter Cross Country league runs today at Moore Park by Ludlow. Not too cold and not too wet so I managed to get nearly around a whole lap with dry feet before the gloop got the better of me.
3.67miles for the ladies (chaps had to do another 2 laps poor fellas).
4 miles in 36.28, wish it was 27.45 lol. Felt great, rhythm was there, breathing was good and legs felt really good. Took it steady so as not to hurt my left knee again, it feels ok but I'm icing it just to be safe, overall I'm well chuffed

Good luck with the GSR Solent Runner. Something tells me you're going to be quick!
Me: 10M commute home, different route. Happily clocking up the miles but this one did tire me out. 8.15m/M

Sunday: 10.5 miles on trails & beach in the strange half-light between sunset and night proper .
Today: leaving only 10 hours between runs got the better of me and 'twas a rather laboured 5 miles around Blundellsands around 7am
Loved it. Loved it. Every step of it.
Tunes ringing in my ears, puddles splashing at my feet - calves are killing today!
Cheers DF, SR & Birk!
4 x 800m today (should have been 8x but legs very, very heavy!!)
