I had somethig similar to that virus a few weeks ago - totally drained of energy and bouts of feeling dizzy/light headed. Never had anything like that before - it made for a horrible drive on the motorway one day when it suddenly came on, very scary.
Maybe it is a compute virus passed through the RW message boards?!
BDB - have you been out and Christened your new trainers yet? You need to burn off that shortcake!
It entertained all the MAMILs around me at the time. Now I'm just worried someone will think that I'm taking things seriously as I have a proper bike. Serious, me? Never
oooh good luck frodo I'm sure you'll be fine. i did london to southend on a crappy old mtb that was 52 or something miles. on a decent bike you'll be fine double that distance it's a fab day out
ST !! MWAH MWAH
I'm doing the 22 mile swim challenge between now and 12th september on fetch and then again from teh 12th september. 2 miles in and I'm fecking knackered and ache in places I didn't even know existed.
ooh good luck for the lessons frodo, alhough mine was disheartening as I was doing loads wrong, it was well worth the money and now my swim is more focused and I can feel the benefits. although not right now where i can just feel the pain LOL
I'm racing this weekend on sunday, local 10 miler and seeing family during the afternoon/evening as it's grandpops funeral monday but if I get a chance I'll have a look
I'll keep an eye on you Frodo. Is it on Saturday or Sunday?
That's a long way to swim loon, I'd need a kayak.
The only 10 mile race I've done is Salibury and that was done with the most awful hangover, I was struggling to stay awake and not when I moved. Took me 2 hours ... but I wasn't last.

Sorry
That's only 4 though ... Carla, Vincey, Brian & Paddy.

Sorry you're suffering guys, but there's no way I can even think of being ill until this weekend is over.
In other news, I have braved the wild winds of the Cheshire Moss on Cookie and survived. Dare I say, I'm even getting a bit braver
<sits back and waits to see if there's any sleazy gossip to soak up>
Viking - no. Tomorrow, promise.
Frodo - tell us more ............
Cookie is my bike. And she is a she. I think
I need to get some more hours in the saddle, as I somehow seem to have entered the Manchester 100 in September... oops, again
Dammit no gossip then. Shall we make some up instead?!
BDB - you better had, we will all be checking...and nagging you if not!
Evening, all.
I remember Cookie
Evening Sweetie
I'm having a small glass of SB seeing as it's the weekend for me. How unusual .....
Howdy ST *mwah*
Is that 100 miles Frodo? That's a bloomin' long way.
old and rusty .... that'd be a bit like me then
100 miles is car territory, not bike .... well for me anyway.
100 miles on MTB is silly distance - you'll be hours faster this time around.
Viking - will do squire
i've a very bad feeling i might be a regular on this thread soon
keep me a space warm
