Oh it's been a bit nomadic for years and years so I don't stress on it too much. When it's ready, it will be back. I haven't entered Avie yet so that's no loss and the Slog is just for muddy fun and meeting up with friends off here.
Evening Crapsters. Just got in from a great run. I don't have them very often but this was one of the special ones where you get a perfect moment. Happy chappy here.
hello again snail 305.. good choice it will rule your life now though, you know that dont' you no race will ever again be the correct length LOL
saw your run details on FB BDB, exellent
not surprised your feet are a bit sore frodo .. LOL
good news is ear is feeling les bunged up today and teh painkillers have kept the worst of it at bay. it does come and go though so we never know, fingers crossed it is heading on the road to recovery though
*trying to imagine a bottle of rose painting finger nails* it'll never take TP LOL
I can tell you that the rose is making a grand job of the tootsies
You might find that a decongestant like sudafed will help your ears Loon and if it's wax build up then syringe in a teeny bit of olive oil twice a day (don't put cotton wool in afterwards). Can you tell I am well aquainted with ear ache?
Frodo, I'm amazed you're walking, let alone cycling
I was using olive oil tp but apparently it's still solid so doc has prescribed something else that I cant remember right now and yes, you are comjing across as a bit of an expert I dont' envy you
Evenin' crapsters. Late walkies here. Lovely evening sky out there. Frustrated though as I can't find my filters, which (I think) are in the small camera bag that I can't find for love or money... Wondering if it might be at Richard's somewhere still... *ponders*
My answer to that one would be to storm round the house chucking stuff about and shouting bad words. I have no patience with lost stuff
Nam, I'm at a conference 27/29th Sept then heading down to Taunton until the following Tuesday (I think) so will try to fix up a meet then. I did notice you weren't too far away on the last trip but it got so hectic at the start and then focused on S after he came out of hospital that any me me me stuff got left aside.
S has a dog too. I haven't met him yet but he's a 'large hairy terrier type thing'. He looks very cute in photos but apparently has a bit of an attitude .... that's be the terrier in him then. I think he'll be there for a couple of days this weekend (he's been saying elsewhere until S is completely recovered).
Kara gets on with most doggies> My friend Cheryl's Terrier Megan is very particular about pooch company and growls and snarls at quite a few, but somehow loves mine. LOL
He's used to a multi dog household (S had another 2 until recently) so would be fine I think.
I am biting my tongue already. It is fairly obvious from FB postings that neither his whiney self centered family nor his devoid of a sense of humour friends approve of me. We they can go and f*ck themselves as far as I am concerned
Maybe not slaps but I think I need to stop biting my tongue. It's difficult as I don't want to make things unpleasant as these are his friends and family and I'm the newcomer into this situation but I'm not a natural at shutting up and not fighting back. We'll see ......
TP I am so sorry his family and friends are so ignorant and discourteous. Surely his happiness should indicate he's onto a good thing. What sort of things are they posting? Is it really obvious, i.e. no chance you're just being a bit paranoid?
True but it's whether they are worth the effort. I take people very much at face value without preconceptions and I kind of like it when everyone else does the same.
You may be having a few whinges on here over the next few days .... thank you in advance.
Possibly Nam but there were a lot of slights and pointed remarks when I was down in July, mostly minor put downs, stuff to belitle me or making digs about spending his money I felt like producing all the receipts for shopping and house stuff for the week ... all of which I willingly paid for. I'm not exactly starving to death and I like to pay my way.
But my friends know this and what I'm all about and that's all that matters
I've got a t-shirt of my FB slogan which should go down a treat (not) with them.
I just think it's a bit sad to make judgements without knowing people. I don't do that .... but maybe that's why I've got on in life and have loads of friends and they .... may well do but there is little evidence.

Glad you enjoyed the speed session Snail - keep it up.
I was wondering how you got on with your other new toy TP, and obviously you haven't yet.

Hope everyone is good
And I'm on holiday and I am packed and I have a large glass of rose helping me paint my toenails
Those are special moments, BDB
I'm just in from a cycle - legs recovering well, feet still a little too tender to run on.
Wouldn't a deep Burgundy or Cab Sav be more effective TP?
Ouch Frodo. Let them recover properly before doing anything too strenuous.
howdy all

I clearly didn't try hard enough at the weekend, because I am genuinely not stiff
(Another 305 fan here - it lasted all the way to mile 40 this weekend, bless it's little Gremlin heart)
Persevere with the olive oil, make sure it's going in and round the corner ... which is where the little syringe comes in handy (no needle on it!).
I know quite a lot about it in dogs too ... if you're completely barking
I think you did work hard enough Frodo. You obviously went past stiff.
Thanks Loon -twas a goody. Glad the ear is feeling a bit better.

Yes, let's see if we can sort something out.
