Well done Jiminey and Trigg.. glad to see some of us were out running Although I have to admit that Caro does have an excuse..... yes Daz even you would have to give her that.
Spent all week at the Velodrome. Wow what an event that was. Lets hope it is similar in August... Completely knackered today so taking some down time but as the weather is so nice here in Essex may well try a walk. My legs and feet are tired but hey ho at least I do have the opportunity to get out.
The little man's name is Eric Claude Frith. I won the middle name discussion (of course!) it's after my great grandfather major general sir Claude francis liardet. I pointed out that the frith will be passed down as he is a boy so it was only fair that one of my family names snuck in there
Hi Caro.. My job started as admin back of house ( i.e under the track ) but as you know me it ended up being meet and greet the athletes and make sure their lounge was full of food and drink. Oh and of course making sure that their water buckets were full on the in field at track side. So all in all got to see and meet most of the riders. Have the same job at the Olympics as well..... hard life this retirement is..... take it easy with Eric and hearty congrats to all your family....xxx
Well.........do you actually have to run the race to be able to go to the pub There are at least 5 or 6 of the Mums Running Club ladies doing it, and one is staying with me, so I have to be a good tour guide.............
You smoothy Trigg... Yes I will be there doing my usual job so would be great to see you whenever you can make it..... anyone else going to make it ???????? OK Daz I know you will be there so come and say hello... you know you want to..

Carovet Many congratulations! I don't suppose we'll be seeing you in Chandos this year!
Have to ask, was it you Jiminey at approx. 1830 last night in pink jacket going up hill towards Tesco's?
Rest day today!
Not even sure of the date of the expo yet - I think it's during Easter school hols so may come up during the day and miss the crush on Saturday.
Looking forward to seeing as many of you as I can!
Daz you'll get through the training so long as you don't spend too long checking out females wearing pink jackets heading towards Tescos
Felt rough yesterday, calf very tight after my 4-miler, but I had done 35 miles in 4 days lol, so am enjoying the rest today.
Will check nearer time about Expo, no idea yet what plans are.
This might help Trigg
