Yes but SOLB's dentist is a walrus. that's not humdrum.
I beat humdrum. I'm at work reading runners world forum posts about how bored and ordinary we all are. I don't even have anything to do right now. I spose I could watch the wee on the carpet dry.
The ideal time to visit the dentist is, of course, 2:30. Yay to pretty dentists. Although mine is a Polish bloke who is so camp he makes Allen Carr look like Rambo.
It is actually not raining here in sunny Reading so today I get on with things to see and people to do. Get money for the builder who's going to make me a nice porch, talk to BT about my crap broadband speed, possibly take Comet up on a particularly good price for a new pooter.
And today do some exercise after two days off for my exertions at Bracknell on Sunday. A gentle bash on the rowing machine to circulate the blood in the legs. Have a 10K on Monday so must try to dispel those lumps in my calf.
Hello, Can you help me? I'd like to be humdrum please. There was far too much excitement at our house at the weekend - and not the good kind. I don't think I can take any more, bring on the bore!
Morning all, Roundy...you can hop in as long as you recite the following:
I, Roundy K, do solemnly mutter that I am humdrum and old before my time. I will try to eschew all excitement and drama, so long as I shall run. And I will also embrace beige. And will rage against bins being unnatural colours. And other such obscenities.
That all sounds very reasonable to me, I long to eschew drama! However, could I embrace grey rather than beige? Beige does not work well with my (lack of) skin tone!
I even promise to have the lemon and herb chicken at Nando's tonight. And coke instead of beer. Do they do tea at Nandos? I'd quite like a nice cuppa
I shall consult with the Council of Beige...I think they might make an allowance
Oon Nandos - not been there in ages. I like the lemon and herb one too...bet they would make you tea if you asked nicely. And proper tea not the stinky green tea that has been touted around here of late.
Sports doc and dentist today...don't know about humdrum, but it certainly is expensive.
Anyone ever had any interferntial stimulation for an injury? Sports doc plugged me in today. Very weird...probably not humdrum though. Made up for it by coming home, logging into work and making a nice cup of tea.
Humdrumness heaven is eating a flake..then vacuuming...then spending ten minutes trying to persuade the cable to retract into a Dyson vacuum cleaner...oh bliss
We're trying to arrange having our carpets professionally cleaned at the minute. Neccessary after the horrible "excitement" of the weekend
I kept things humdrum today by indulging in a cup of earl grey whilst doing the crossword (no green tea for me either - yuk!!) then I went for a very slow 4 mile plod so as to keep the legs relatively fresh for body pump tonight.
Ooh had an idea...no many of them are good but this one was. You can hire a carpet cleaner, like a VAX from some supermarkets. umm.....Carpet Doctor I think is the name...google it!
Well, its gettin a busy here isnt it! Quite hard to keep up with different peoples humdrumness, but there sounds like there is plenty of tea being drunk so all is good. Ive just pushed the boat out and gone for coffee, its been a long day and its not over yet!
Very humdrum day at work, but from time to time thats a good thing.
remember, tomorrow is big night on discovery channel with the olympic park documentary! Im so excited I think a bit of wee just came out!!!!!!!!!

That should do it! Welcome!

Oh it was a messy night. There were lederhosen and drinking pictionary!! Red wine is the least of our troubles.
Not sure I can help you Mingo, other rhan to recommend checking out groupon for offers on carpet cleaning - that's what we did!
Rug doctor!
