Yeah, I live in Brighton at the moment so I know very well how much of a trek it is. I am moving up to Edinburgh in June so the travel to the run will be much more palatable!
Always wanted to travel down to Margate, it must be a nice place to live. I have visited Canterbury and Whitstable. Both lovely places.
Thanks cinders you meant it really ,I know what your like lol
Just kidding I shall have a look at it .
This country could give anywhere bad press couldn't it ?
So Gramski is it work that you are moving to Scotland or do you like travelling around . Bet its good moving areas something fresh and different takes away the mundane side of things .
JB74, yes I relocating through work. I am originally from the North East and had never intended to move around, it sort of just happened. I was give an opportunity to move to Brighton a couple of years ago so took it and have loved it but now keen to move back North.
Edinburgh gives me the benefit of living in a great city and it's closer to family and friends etc. Hopefully, this is the final move but who knows!!
Yeah, it has been great to be honest. Been fortunate to live and work in some great places. I was a little bored in South Shields, having lived therefor 28 years.
Hello. Can I join in? Not sure if this is the right place to be, but Im a newbie runner (a lapsed runner I guess) who has had more re-starts than you can imagine!
Im now back in the swing, plodding, walking and shuffling my way around a local 5km route (which is taking on average 45 minutes to cover)
Im also desperately trying to lose some timber, being about 4 stone overweight is not much fun. Ive a 12 month old baby, but thats no excuse as Im already lighter than before I fell pregnant.
Hoping to be a regular visitor here, to get as much knowledge from those who have been there, done that.
Im paid up (and sponsorship is coming in) to a 10 miler later this year, so no getting out of it this time.
Cinders and BM i didnt see responses come through so sorry if appear to have been rude.
Cinders that was good then for Little Mr C did he enjoy it?
The BBQ party was wet but a good laugh considering i knew no one and plenty of drink was flowing and food getting burnt but all fun.
Ive entered Brum HM again got to try and beat last years time , have you entered it Cinders?
BM its good that you have found your Mojo again and it doesnt matter how long something takes you as long as you have enjoyed it and feel good. you have plenty of time to worry about getter faster and having planned a 10 miler gives great incentive well done you keep it going.
Morning how is everyone well you Cinders lol hows things.
Brum is in October again so plenty of time to get some training in before then. Ive got the Cotswold relay in which im training for im doing stage 5 which ive recced and there are a few steep hills lol
