Angie this isn't her first half by any chance is it?
Just a throught with saying about cheque's they are being got rid off by banks after next year. Anyone know what plans race organisers are going to use after? West I used the in-line thingy myself works but you have to pay a charge for the transition for the admin.
The race is now full and we are starting to build up a reserve list, so if anyone knows of anybody who is unable to run, please let me know, and I will get in touch.
Good to hear the race is full ES...Seems to get more popular year by year. This will be my 6th LHM seems like yesterday when I ran my first ever race back in 07 at Liversedge finishing in 1 hr 57.Im down to 1 hr 33 for my pb at half marathon achieved at Liverpool.Got the Brass Monkey in a fortnight hoping for a pb there but is a big hope.Dislike running at this time of the year as all my training takes place before 7am and after 7pm.
Lets hope the wind holds off or the times will be way off a PB... ran the route a few times during the recent heavy winds and thought I was dragging a tyre up Halifax road...lol
I am doing the sensible thing and pulling out to ensure I get back to full fitness in time for London, does anyone want my number? I will email Peter Knott too.
Hi all - any recommendations of entertainment for a 6 year old while her Daddy is running?? Any decent (or not so decent) cafes nearby? playgounds etc?
Comments
Yes, on the flat.
Luckily I only live about 3-4 miles away from the route. Think I'll give it a trial run nearer the time to set myself a benchmark.
ive talked my sister into coming from down south, to come and try out the northern hills
told her they weren't that bad
Posted my Liversedge entry this morning
(first 1/2 since August 2009)
Rich you will love it. It's right up your street.

What??
We get to go through the Ford, & drag ourselves up through the park alongside it, and run through some fields??
No sorry, I'm just wishing it was 'Trunce' time again
Next year matey. Not been able to make most of the trunces this year.
No mention the speed bumps will be enjoyable to yourself.
You can give someone my place, as SWMBO booked a fortnights holiday and the race falls within it.
Should I return the information pack, so you have my race number sticker back?
Richard,
I will put someone in touch with you by email (using your blueyonder account if still live) and you can sort the transfer out with them.
ES
Yes, the Virin/Blue Yonder e-mail is atill available to me, so please let the first reserve on your list get in touch.
I have the e-mail from Peter Knott, so shouldI notify him of the transfer when I know the name???
Richard,
I have sent an email to both of you, so you can sort out from there.
I've come to enter this race this afternoon on my lunch break.....and it's FULL!!
To say I'm gutted is an understatement
Is there anyway I can get on the reserve list just incase anybody pulls out?
Thanks,
Chris
Chris,
I will put you on the reserve list, but as stated to all the others, I can't guarantee anything.
Drop an email to the chairman of Roberttown Road Runners (address on web site) so he will have your details if anything crops up.
Thank you anyway buddy....Here's to hoping!
Another fellow Bantam I see...Great to see!
Up the bantams
Yes indeed, lifelong supporter for my sins.

Hi Sally,
Has your number gone?
