Not sure this will be worth running in 2013. It died after Outlaw and is the weakest it's been since I joined in 2010. None of the 2013 Virgins on the "Fatman to Ironman" and other threads seem to find it a motivator and it needs new blood.

 

I would be keen to join in this year, I didn't join in last year as it was half way through the year when I saw the thread.

Its always the way, poeple use it till their chosen race and some keep it up other drop off.

Look at the start of 2012,,,must be 30 plus people, ends with 12 so what?

I think a big part of why the numbers posting drop off is because it's quite healthy to have a complete break from training



In 2011 I posted right through the year and in 2012 this thread worked fantastically as a motivator, but after the marathon then IM cycle I just really needed a complete break from the numbers so did all my training without any garmin and just ran, cycled and swum for the joy of it!



I'd be gutted if there wasn't a 2013 thread
