i got my t shirt on saturday, and its black. Picture on the web site is white, still at least its arrived. No race number or any other info. Ran the park saturday too, why don't other runners smile there? Around the streets of Surbiton waves and smiles but nothing in Richmond park.

I ran RP on Sunday too Showusyamonkey, started at 9am and ran clockwise; if you were running at the same time and I didn't smile, it was probably because I was being dragged around by a mad woman named Destiny, who enabled me to do a PB of 1.06.

Do you get waves and smiles around Surbiton? I don't!

9 is far too early for me i started at about 11.15 and ran about 55 mins i think, didn't bother with a watch just radio on and legged it. Got a nice wave of a young lady in tolworth yesterday. I always try to make the effort, i know the pain we all go through.

I did Surbitonites a disservice there, I usually get a hello from other runners, especially along the river. And I usually find the other runners in RP to be a friendly bunch too, although some of them can look a bit grim. Having joined their ranks yesterday, I'll make an extra effort to smile!

one small moan, 3 quid delivery charge for t-shirt and the postage paid was 75p. Its all for charity mate, but isn't that taking the p***?

Right, I've just called Sweatshop and they said that they were sorting out the packs as we spoke. We should receive the packs by the end of this week. He also said that the T-Shirts would take a little longer so probably around the middle to the end of next week. Hopefully that helps everyone.

Did a trial 10k on Saturday and nearly passed out, set out at around 11.30 and there was no air, was so muggy and hot it was unbearable in London. I'm used to running at half six in the morning and I managed 10k in 59 minutes on Wednesday - on Saturday I added an extra 3 minutes on and had to sit down half way round, don't know how I'm going to cope on the 20th!

What happened re the RW Forum Cup - team of 4 with combined time closest to 200 min etc etc - on or not? Will add my estimated time just in case it's still a possibility.

numbers are being posted this week. like I mentioned on a different thread, we deliberately don't send the numbers out till close to the race because otherwise there are a lot of problems with people mislaying the numbers etc.

so much for going sub 50minutes for me - given my current speeds, and blatantly using the heat and the hills as an excuse!, I'll have to aim a little bit lower for my time. shame.

Hi guys, am at home today as the ankle biter's school is being used as a polling station (as per!) with no childcare provision being offered, how annoying!

Just thought I'd add my expected time on, I managed 10k in 59:12 the other day but I reckon I wont finish til way over the hour line, I don't want to start too near the front as I don't think it'll be fair on the many faster people who will have to go round me! I'm going to allow an extra five minutes at least! Am meant to be going to Richmond park with my friend and my son this weekend, I might try and walk the route to familiarise myself with it a little.
