Last year some of us met at a Pasta bar on the Sunday. A few met just after the event and went to the nearest bar.

In the evening there was a "major" bar event apparently but I had to miss that. I cannot remember where it was.

Hiya I'v only been running for a couple of weeks. I have just completed my first 5k in the Cardiff R4L. I have also entered the Dublin marathon as a motivation (!!) and challenge. If anyone has any tips or can help keep me motivated it would be greatly appreciated as previously when I have tried to run my motivation just gives out. Also i haven't booked accomodation yet so if anyone has some good places to stay let me know pleez.

I know but it makes it real then. I'v been a bit crap worrying incase I couldn't do it and i suppose delaying booking accomodation was part of that. What's best place to book through. I was going to book over internet.

Hi all, just a quick posting. Training seriously disrupted for this as I have just spent the last week in hospital with another bout of cellulitous. I now have a leg that is massive. Full of fluid, unable to bend either knee or ankle. Still on IV antibotics and off work for god knows how long again. Just as I was starting to feel the benefits of training and feeling better wham! off goes the leg again. Boy am I glad this race is a long way away. Catch you all in a while when I am over this and the training resumes.

Ouch Cinders that sounds sore. Yep I should be ready for Dublin. Just out of action for a w2eek or so until the swelling goes down. Hope you will be fine for Dublin.

Steady - guess I'm on the same flight as you from EMids.

No doubt full of runners as the original flight time was ideal for Registration. What is the official line on getting someone else to pickup your number?

Does anyone know?
