Well well well - everyone is v. bright and breezy!!

Come on - how are all the aches and pains?


After having no probs in the race my knee feels like crap today so lots of stretches and lying around on the office floor doing stupid exercises for me this week....

Legs tightened up nicely overnight and lower back painful - must get the boob reduction sorted........... [yeah right - fat chance!!!!]

Bra chafing still v sore and running out of cream!!! At least the loose skin has all come off now - semi boob reduction you could say!!!

Well done all - no DNFs for the URWFRC at this race!!!

Viking and myself were tempted to DNF. If I'd had a fiver in my pocket we'd have popped into Helsby Golf Club for a pie and a pint.

Morning all - beginning to come down now and the awful realisation that I might have to keep that kind of time up has hit me!!! Aaargh - sure it wasn't me must've been taken over by running aliens for the morning!! Did a 30 min run last night to recover then had a massage. The guy who did that seemed to think it'e be a good idea to stick his elbows into the pressure points on my thighs!! Yow!! 3 times on each thigh!! Hurt far more than running ever does!!! Surprised he didn't hace to peel me off the ceiling. Thanks for the photos Cath and DtS and the encouragement from everyone - makes such a difference!! Might even be lookling forward to Lpool now,. instead of the usual curious mix of fear and anticipation...!!

Hiya PM. If you get the training done in the next 6 weeks you'll get under 2 hours at Liverpool. You'll be leaving me and Viking for dead at this rate.

30 minute run the day after a half. Good heavens, what is the world coming to!!

Club sess for me tonight. If they do a track sess, I ain't. I'm building up my stamina again, so it's steady running for me from now on.

Checked mine out - would probably have bought one if it hadn't been for the Spectrum Strider outkicking me (shots "0087" and "0088" here)
