Was a great day and as Cath has pointed out - the snow on the hills looked purdy.

absolutely chuffed with my time of 1;57 ish for my first half.
on a night shift at work tonight so expect my legs to seize up about 3am or so

Feeling the race a bit this morning but cycled into work and it has loosened the joints up a bit. Parbold Hill race next for me.
Sorry To all those I didn't get a photo off, but we were in Doodington Village, and everyone was a bit close togetehr to spot !!
( obviously we did get photos of Jakesy & Fat FAce....Just the noise gives them away !)
My father passed away on Thursday night, so I didn't come up to run and meet the northern mssive.

Flatters - I'd go with the chip time - that was your true time after all.
Did anyone think the chips helped at the start ? I didn't see the times displayed behind the start line though, so just kinda ambled into position.

Cougs, I think I saw you overtake us around 7 or 8 miles when Jo was having a dodgy patch...there was someone in a URWFRC vest going past talking to someone but you were gone before I got a chance to shout you...wasn't even sure it was you as I only saw your back...but on reflection, I think it was.
Did anyone see that girl with the long blonde pony tail, the sun bed tan, tight tights and micro black top??? I think if you're going to dress like that you need to be fast...
She must have been freezing!!!

She is called Jackie and she is the memebership co-ordinator of the gym I'm a member off... ( She is also doing Wrexham, Wilmslow and FLM !)
I did see long blonde pony tail girl. I was planning on running behind her, but she was fading a bit, darn it.
Excellent work on Jo getting in under 1.55 - that is a tough course !
I saw the Ninjas in the finish chute, but was talking to someone else at the time, and by the time I looked back - they'd vanished into think air - all Ninjaesque.
Hung around for a bacon butty and coffee afterwards - Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
