I've just spent 3 hours at the shops... I bought a kettle that has a broken lid, a microwave that a dinner plate can't fit into and some bathroom scales that screamed when I got on them
The m'wave and kettle are back in their boxes but I sense that the scales and I simply need to work on our relationship
I hate shopping.
Evening. Your shopping trip sounds interesting Limper. I trust kettle and microwave are heading back to the shop. No shopping trip for me. All I bought today was a desk diary oout of the £1 shop for my work. Nothing exciting.
Weather is horrendous up here. We are not flooded out but I wish the rain would stop. Its permanently dark just now. So depressing. How is it down south?

Had planned a plod today but the days of me going out hail rain or snow are long gone. In my 40s I would never miss a days running but 5 weeks today I will be saying in my 60s I won't be plodding in the rain

I'm going to take a dinner plate (clean and bereft of food) with me tomorrow and demand that I be allowed to try getting it through the door of the next microwave that I consider buying!
Along with my tragic shopping experience, my tablet broke down this morning. I believe it is one week past it's warranty. No more bedtime hugs Tippy
It's been horrible down here again Speedy. Just rain, wind and more rain. And more wind. Blah.

I bought a dinner service a couple years ago and the dinner plates didn't even fit in my cupboard.
When are you all back at work?
I've got two beautiful posh non-stick baking trays Speedy. They are immaculate despite being several years old. This is because they don't actually fit in my oven. Or my mum's. Or my friend's! Very useful.
We only get the bank holidays off.
