Its not that I am too worried about the fitness, I just wont be happy running with a niggle, being able to run healthy and uninjured for the rest of the year is more important than the marathon to be honest...I just want it not to niggle and slow me down during the marathon...its getting better and I know it will be fine soon...GFA is sub 4 for me now..but I wouldn't really be happy with anything over 3.50...oh pooh I dont know..
Been trawling to see just how effective spinning is, its a new session only just introduced at our gym and proving very poplular...I have done 4 sessions in the last week..and not even getting saddle sore now, I havent resorted to the padded seats soe girls have bought....
Stuart / Stewart / Mace / MG early night tonight and good luck!!
HM hope you got out there today
NP only 18 more work days! Well done on the speed session
Jason nice recovery yesterday, and well done on the leisurely 8.71m today. Great vid!!
Fiona more rolling and stretching. Healing vibes to the hammy.
mace I got the app..I will be stalking you
NN I'm sure all those gym classes, especially the spinning, will have kept you at a high level of fitness.

Long run of 20.35m today - few miles before and after, plus the Hackney Half marathon. Unexpectedly a club-mate turned up, and I paced her round just inside 1:45, a PB for her after a disappointing run on our local half. The bad side was my HR exploded in miles 12 and 13. I'm hoping I'm just a bit under the weather - yesterday's recovery run was also a bit high in HR terms.
Lovely weather this morning and longest swim so far this year (1/3 mile). Water temperature is now creeping up (6.5C) and didn't feel bad at all with the sun on your back. Followed by 10 mile coastal trail run in the sun.
However headwind picking up on way back and due to increase through the day bringing rain
Hope all the racers get a good night SM6 StewartC mace MG1 ?Mabel40
Just about to go to bed, thanks for all the good wishes and for all the advice over the past few months, good luck MG, Stuart, Mace and anyone else training or racing tomorrow
Nice 20+ miler Teknik and nice of you to help your club mate to a PB.
Hope you get a good sleep Stuart and that the bath was nice and warm! I had one of NP's cold baths earlier and it almost killed me!! Warmed up now thanks NP Just back from visiting the folks so off to roll and stetch a bit more but I must say the leg went numb in the bath and have not felt it since!
OH do you wear a wetsuit? Considered wearing my shortie in the bath but that would defeat the purpose!!

Well controlled parkrun NP.

Sunny 14C here. Just back from a 6.5m run with the club.
Mace had a slightly slow first 10k, then picked up the pace to reach half way in 1:38:10
