3 miles this morning and surprised to find the legs still working after yesterday's Punchbowl Marathon. Great to meet PSC and Mrs PSC at the start. Hope the groping incident doesn't return to haunt you in 30 years time PSC!
Had a notification from Runners World for the first time in months!
Apologies but had no access to the net in the UK. Did the quadzilla in a cumulative time of under 20hrs so happy with that. Unofficially all times were within 10minutes of each other so happy with that and finished the last day as the fastest overall time!
PSC & Chris - punchbowl sounds great - poor women getting stuck though, lucky you were there to rescue her PSC!!
Emmy - well done with the quadzilla - amazing!
I haven't ran for a week now but I have been doing gym work and I experienced T25 for the first time this morning. I'm pretty sure my calf would be able to handle a run now so this week and I should be back out there
Emmy - well done Was it you that posted a pic in the RW forumites facebook page?
Well as I missed my long run yesterday thought I would have a second run today to make up for it - left school on the bell and got home in time to do a lovely 6 miles off road (on a trail so not too muddy - no way I would be able to move in the fields), so 11 miles total today. Should be swimming tonight, and although I don't feel particularly tired I haven't actually got time to make and eat food in time so will skip the swim and have a relaxing evening watching TV
Well done, Emmy, impressive work. Gobi, you should get the little moped then you would have won. Jo, welcome to the underworld of T25, focus.... Swim and spin tonight, delighted to make some time improvements in my swimming. I'm going to wean myself off running, max 6 times this week.
The SOC was back, bike ride at 0515 and started promising with a warm(ish) morning but after 15 mins the temp dropped and up came the wind and icy rain. Rode a loop back towards home and did about 80 mins but it wasn't nice really.
Sometimes it is riding your bike and other times it is "just training"
Wind and rain here this morning just for a change and very slippery underfoot in places. Was planning an OW swim later but will probably bin that idea in light of the weather conditions.
Cycled the 8 mile commute feel like I am on a fairground ride when going downhill with all my lights flashing. Just finished T25 although missed Fridays and yesterdays due to lack of time. now just 45 minutes to have a wash, cook dinner before kick off.
not sure why I washed my shoes after Punchbowl. 5 mile run off road after work and they are filthy again! Great recovery! And, bonus, the campervan passed it's MOT today! Woohoo
Swim, track - 8 x3 mins- and spin tonight. Bananaramaed. Off for dinner and to see the comedian Miles Jupp tomorrow night. valis, I have an image of you with spokey dokeys, probably not what Gobi has on his bike.
Slight delay to the start of our run this morning as we waited for Rusty to return from a mammoth deer chase. Never seen him look so knackered. And then he had a 5 mile run to do with us. Needless to say he's asleep in his basket now!
NW 3 deer (being pursued!)
Stormy conditions later but might try to squeeze in a bike ride before lunch.
Morning all - late night last night so pleased to drag myself out of bed for T25, chilly out there this morning. Playing cards held on with a peg adds to the list of pro bike equipment.
nothing for me this morning, still windy here but not as scary as yesterday when we had power cables in the road and trees down. Swimming tonight and hoping to squeeze a run in before the swim
