That's fine Mark, I should arrive around 07.45 so I will wait outside the station. Can you email me a contact phone number just in case anything stupid happens like my train being cancelled.
Latest weather forecast is for highs in the low 40s and lows in the low 30s and snow showers in the morning, oh joy of joys. I have enough trouble staying on my feet in dry conditions.
Bill I will send you my mobile phone number. Just thought I will need to pick you up at 7.50 so that we can meet the others at 8.00. Are you planning on making the session tonight? Hill reps I think LOVELY
Looks like the weather is gonna add to the fun although BBC weather website is saying only 20mph winds 4 deg and sunny
I've been out running and now I feel alive - cold, wet but definitely alive!
Great fun on the top of the Downs watching the rain dancing and swirling in the wind, then as it (wind) drops to turn and gust the other way it dumps the water like a cold power shower. All those sad people in their cars - I always feel the farmers and myself are sharing a secret joke on days like today.
My weather forecast promises cold but bright and no precipitation - jelly babies fortunately work in all weather. Is there somewhere on route we can buy extra water?
Right off to play with operation stack - need to takes parents to WHH for post op check-up.
Bo-bo there is a village shop in St Nicholas at Wade which I guess is somewhere around the 18 m mark (ish) I usually stop there and buy water or fruit juice and a snack
That's fine. I cannot make tonight as we have company annual dinner up in London, black tie job. Unfortunately I will go into saturday on the back of several days off training and next week gets even worse as I am up in Harrogate from Wednesday to Sunday, but after that everything clears up. I am also taking three days off the following week so I will pile the miles on then.
Yep, a good time had by one and all. Not being a fully qualified nutter I wimped out and doubled back at Minnis Bay, via a bacon baguette and coffee at the cafe on the prom, and clocked up just under 17 by the time I got to Birchington Station, so I am quite happy with that.

Oooh sounds a posh do CB!
Sounded a windy one bo-bo! Calmed down a bit now down here.
Two things:
Who is going to start the Thanet Marathon thread? The race is in the events list now so I thought about it but I was too nervous!!!
PSC is a sporting megastar who appears on page 14 of this months RW mag. Bobo can you bring along a signed photo for me?
Go on Cliff you know you want to but please set it up from the event page that way its linked to the event website and entry forms etc.
Oh the pressure! Go on cliffy you know you want to.
My entry in RW is a bit of a fraud. Bobo is the jellybaby queen so should really get the credit!
Oh no Ive just seen the BBC weather for tomorrow 5 deg 14 MPH westerly winds and Bright sunshine where is the fun in that
Must remember to pack some sunscreen in my belt bag
But you will be running in the Fannit microclimate so be prepared for anything!
Me and Hells Bells are off for a mere 12 miler - at least it means i can glug some vino tonight though!
Mark
Shall I bring a hip flask tomorrow then? Or maybe one of those foil bags out of a 3 litre wine box. You did say we would be stopping for refreshments.
Oh God I had forgotten that. Attention all young dads. 3 spoons of SMA Gold can not be got from the Nescafe jar! LOL.
LOL hope your not making bo-bo's drinks for the morning PSC.
See you in the morning folks !
PS its bloomin Cold in Thanet tonight
