Good turnout in the ammanford - conditions pretty good - got my PB for that race: 47:16 really wanted to go under 47 mins. I've installed software called irfanview on my pc - which allows you to shrink an image to show in your profile - I know P.J. was having problems. It's free software - link below .
Well done CG, good running mate. I Had a PB today as well 39:06 very happy with that. The club done very well and a bit of bling for Carol, Carl and Dave Oak, well done to all.
Thanks BB I'll keep trying, its all down to the people in the club helping each other to better times, the club is going great lets try and keep it going.
For those who did the Ammanford - you probably noticed some chap being resuscitated by the St. Johns by the finish - just spoke to the organisers (Rose) he was taken by ambulance to hospital only to be taken back in time for the awards ceremony making a full recovery - hero Bernie caught the chap as he collapsed - almost certainly saving him from injury - nice one Bernie
Bomber suggest inviting Bernie to any future Man Utd finals (you knew I was going to say that)
6pm Baglan Moors Industrial Park, opposite the cricket pitch - on the way to Baglan Hospital - look out for runners. We'll be around the first right turn.
Pleased to say I wasn't the only one to grab him .... also pleased he's made a good recover.
Funny thing, as I grabbed him I couldn't press my watch to stop my time or even see my watch to check .... but while he was really groggy and with his eyes closed he was determined to press his watch to record his time - and he did!!
Enjoyed the race (my first time in Ammanford) and didn't find the hilly sections as tough as I'd feared - managed 44m 12sec which I'm going to call a pb as I haven't run a competitive 10k for over 25 years!
Sorry, won't be there tonight as I've got a golf match.
abu you need to go on r.w. site, and look for wet test or wot shoe type do i need .because you are running on the outside of your heels.that maybe wots up whith your knee.but you still did o.k..
chris i was shaged tonight its going to be a lot harder than any thing i have ever done before .but i will come back . if you gave me m.d. body i could go to the olympics.

Thanks BB, you can come with us if you want. Do a run around the field, get you out of the house for a while. Give me a bell if you do.
