R-K - it would be quite cool to have a joint social evening between the two clubs lots of us know each other anyway - i don't mean from here i mean we see each other at races all the time anyway
our lot don't do socials either R-K we organise stuff but only about 20 people turn up, apart from the xmas do and the presentation nite -where most of the club turn up
New to this thread, looks like it could come it very useful for next year, just wondered if there are any decent events locally that anyone knows about over the next few weeks / month or so.
Getting a bit bored of just running in circles on my own, and everything I know is full (Wheaton Aston) or cancelled (pudding run).
Considering travelling up to Preson for Central Lancs 'Fun' half on Jan 3rd, but it just seems a bit far......... I'm looking at some shorter distances too so anythin that anyone knows of........?
Lurker - I've been turning up for about a month now! I usually run without contact lenses in so unlikely to recognise anybody unless they're less than 2ft in front of me, so haven't noticed you otherwise I would have come over and said hello. I'm at the Red Lion on Friday (well it is walking distance) with lenses in
TNHo Ho Ho - Have a look at the EVENTS tab at the top of the page you can search by county, distance, month, etc for races on there
spence - sort of, i am just trying to run further in my long runs, and not avoid the hills i have a plan - but it does not start until feb so i am just going to potter along until then, trying to run more than i do now per week
roundy - anyone can do that!! TNH wants local knowledge like what we can provide in it!!
right - i probably have seen you and recognised you but then thought you were someone who had been around for ages and not made the connection, see you on friday or come to town tomorrow - to the cotswold shop - you might see something you like to buy and if not - you can just have a beer/mulled wine/hot chocoate at the german market
TNH - there is not much happening for a while as far as i know but i would agree on NTRIX probably be a good idea to enter it myself before it fills up

Thge best race by far on Sunday is the Mortimer Forest 10 miler just outside Ludlow. See Ludlow Runners Website. It has everything, that's why the same people go back year after year.
