I got the one with the waistline buoyancy aid and my wetsuit is the latest in walruss mimicking technology for additional gliding ability and it minimises energy being expended
Thanks, i'll do a full race report tomorrow on the blog.
Couple of highlights
I frigged about in T1 for ages because i left my garmin in my bike shoe, worried someone would nick it off my bike. Anyway, it got jammed and took ages to get it out, lol
Finish was good as it was a straight run up an avenue with spectators either side cheering you on, then your name was announced over the loud speakers as you came up to the line.

Well, we're relying on t'Royal Mail. July?
Oh go on. Go on, go on, go on, go on, go on, go on.
You can do like SD and put it on your blog for us all to see.
wOw. You guys are hardcore
400m swim, 20k bike, 5k run - 1hr 16min
How was it? Any notable points?
Nice one SD!
Oops - I forgot too
Excellent work SD. I can see I'm going to have some work to do to keep up with you!
Lewis 11? I thought he'd gone into witness protection and assumed a new identity.
Nice work SD

Sounds very cool mate, that must really help in bringing you home!
I've added some photo's from today to my FB page and linked to the IM Group, but here's some
I can always see where I am going
Great pics . Who do you swim with?
We have the same wetsuit! Although possibly in different sizes.
The lake looks nice. I had to buy neoprene socks because I can't stand the feeling of the squelchy mud and slimy weeds on my feet.
Yes I suspect my wetsuit is a little bigger than yours!!
Well, bear in mind that mine has to fit a 6'3", 20 stone bloke
Your wetsuit is obviously smaller than mine

Congrats SD, great time for the sprint!
Evening all.
Second time it's hailed round my way in the past fortnight. Guess what, i was out on the bloody bike when it happened again.
Still, managed a cheeky 37 miles, furthest i've ridden since getting caught in the last hail storm.
good work SD, I look forward to the day I can manage 37 miles on the bike and still smile
