Ok.I have had a complete change of heart and mind in the last 24 hours..after being totally convinced that next year is a year of tris and to change back to a year of ultras.........I have now decided that I have to go back to Outlaw as i am convinced that I have a sub 13:30 in me
Booooo. All those cyclists will be pedalling around France by the next weekend.
No idea what race I'm going to do. Possilbe Enduroman but seeing new scenary really makes a race for me. Not entirely sure doing hundreds of laps is what I thought tri was about.
I've come back from the weekend with the feeling I want to do it again next year.......but it could be that I have just let myself get caught up in all that excitement and atmosphere of the whole thing. It's a possibility so I am thinking on and have already dropped it into the conversation with hubby.

That and I can't count if my HR is over 100.
you dont need to count, either get a 910xt and it will count for you or they tell you how many you done - no excuses. i dont particularly like laps, i dont even like out and back runs but the enduro course has a certain something that negates the boredom of laps, maybe the happy vibe from people or maybe the varied course but there is something. And youll have the smug feeling that is a good bit harder than the outlaw.
When an ironman goes to bed, he checks the closet for an Enduroman
I always hated laps and didn't even like mareathons if it was a two lapper..bvut as DK says there so something so different about enduroman.......but warning.once you go there once you can never stop
Hi to names New and old.I survived this with the pirates last 2 years but knackered myself last year.Would love to have another go but really does depend on date in July. I am in the "sounding out the OH camp" at moment.

Putting my name down before the OH has a chance to retract the offer.

Tis for me.
Am sorely tempted as I pulled out this year through injury.... too early to say though. Good shout getting the thread up and running though.
Seren yes
I'm keeping my breath held that it's only 1 weekend later.
Until a couple of hours ago I was really excited but if it is moved to end of July I'll be out.

Medic Girl - I doubt it will be just one week later. The issue next year is a clash with the start of the tour.

Spent today working on training plan:0
