ha ha, nrk it was unbearable, she made mince meat out of me, am starting to think she was doing it wrong because that cant have been right, booked one for next week again(need my head testing) have you had one your self nrk
Morning all...firstly, great to see you all (except for Cougs who couldn't be @rsed to get there on time!!! ;-)). A great day and thoroghly enjoyed it in spite of tweaking my calf muscle (it was already suspect) by mile 2 but not enough to stop me running. The really great news is that we got a new PB for Jo (Mrs RB)...we got in at 1.54.44 (by my watch) so she not only went sub 2hrs for the first time but also sub 1.55...pretty much went hell for leather in the last 2 miles!!!
Cougs, I think I saw you overtake us around 7 or 8 miles when Jo was having a dodgy patch...there was someone in a URWFRC vest going past talking to someone but you were gone before I got a chance to shout you...wasn't even sure it was you as I only saw your back...but on reflection, I think it was.
Did anyone see that girl with the long blonde pony tail, the sun bed tan, tight tights and micro black top??? I think if you're going to dress like that you need to be fast...
I did see long blonde pony tail girl. I was planning on running behind her, but she was fading a bit, darn it.
Excellent work on Jo getting in under 1.55 - that is a tough course !
I saw the Ninjas in the finish chute, but was talking to someone else at the time, and by the time I looked back - they'd vanished into think air - all Ninjaesque.
Hung around for a bacon butty and coffee afterwards - Mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Feeling the race a bit this morning but cycled into work and it has loosened the joints up a bit. Parbold Hill race next for me.
Sorry To all those I didn't get a photo off, but we were in Doodington Village, and everyone was a bit close togetehr to spot !!
( obviously we did get photos of Jakesy & Fat FAce....Just the noise gives them away !)
My father passed away on Thursday night, so I didn't come up to run and meet the northern mssive.
Next time.
Flatters - I'd go with the chip time - that was your true time after all.
Did anyone think the chips helped at the start ? I didn't see the times displayed behind the start line though, so just kinda ambled into position.
Oh and did everyone get that leaflet from the race photographer to say that he'll have pics up tomorrow ?
no words..
