large amounts isn't great - some people go veggie and literally smother everything in cheese to make sure they get their protein and calcium - not a good strategy
Indeed it isn't Maddy! I do love my cheese though, so do have the odd goats cheese salad or baked potatoe with veggie chilli and cheese
I also do occasionally eat eggs... and don't mind if people don't have soya milk for my coffee or cereal or when the shop runs out, I just buy skimmed milk...
I could probably do late Jun, after the DD so my legs should be working again after that.
phys - 8 min miles is only 3:30 pace so yo should be able to get back to that no problem. You should be doing your tempo a bit quicker I feel but at this stage there is nothing wrong with just building a good mileage base. Time for sharpening later, the earlier you can get the LRs going the better. But then you know all that.
Han, that sounds like a fab idea! I like the idea of camping in the field by a river
I am with you on the veggie diet,i buy the rennet free cheese which i add to mashed potato or on top of lasagne, its not as gloopy as the stuff thats contains the scrapings of the dead calves guts, but nice anyway
Tis good walking country as well fifi - erm Iwon't be able to camp and pedal - unless we arrage to get my tent collected before hand - reminds me the tent needs looking at washing and rteewaterproofing
ah no - contact is via the dating website - he just vanished for a bit which is not surprising when this sort of stuff happens - there have been a lot of redundancies around here
Afternoon. Had a nice time with my Dad with a curry last night, and a walk this morning. But i did have to miss my run today. I'll just have to swap rest days and do it tomorrow instead. Luckily I've got a quieter than normal Thursday.
Paul - 8 min/mile pace is 3:30 as you say..... which nearly killed me when I did Rotterdam so none of this "it'll be easy to get back to that" thank you! Rotterdam was my PB...... for the rest of my running career. I'm quite happy with that one thanks
I'd fall off the back of the treadmill if I tried to do tempo any quicker at the moment. I couldn't keep it up as it was!
Where is your ambition phys? After a bit of base mileage you should sub 3:30 again easily. I have always said you should target sub 3:15 and an FLM championship start.
32 dark laps of the track tonight but 8 more miles at quicker than MP for the log.

Been to the track, it was hard, it was good, quads and hammies now bruning and I am starving!!!
The whole on newport was gridlocked as well, because the M4 was closed because of an upturned lorry, causing huge mayhem!
