I'm good at rest days. The other stuff, not so good at
all ready but changed my rest day to Tuesday
Pity it starts at the most hectic time of the year - at least the sessions are shorter so easier to fit in between parents' evenings, nativities and everything else.
RP - rest day Christmas Day! My schedule has me doing a brick session at some point that day ... mmm
I'm going to continue doing my own thing until Fink catches up with the training I've been doing the last few months ( averageing approx 14 hours per week with the odd recovery week thrown in).
Christmas day will have to be a rest day, i'd never hear the end of it I went out training then.
Enjoy the training everyone.
I will doing a park run probably on christmas day..............
but i have already been up and done a 30 min run this morning at HR Zone 2
1 down 3000 to go
Good Luck everyone.
GP - 12th Feb if you're going for the 30 week Fink plan - not long really!!!
I failed to start last week so will be trying again from tomorrow. Will have to move things round to fit in but that's the same for all of us it seems!
I will be doing all the sessions Finks says, just not necessarily in the same order. So today swim done and tonight is running club.
My rest day will normally be Friday but with Xmas getting in the way this week it will be on Sunday as Hubby's Xmas do this Saturday.
Someone actually called be a 'serious swmmer' this morning - ha ha, I'm taking that though
good luck all. Fink got me round the Outlaw last year and starts off nice and steady! Starting to wish I was doing another Iron distance this year but am currently going for speed over short course. Training doesnt get any easier mind you....
Swapped my rest day to Saturday to allow for family time.
Got a 15 minute turbo session planned for the bike tonight, swim tomorrow morning and a run tomorrow evening.
realised in Manchester tomorrow so did an hour swim this morning and an hour yoga.good job that i have to go shopping this afternoon or my new fouind 1st day mojo and the fact it is sunny would send me out on the bike
Juggled my days about too. Rest day Saturday so a run for me this morning.
anybody on here use twitter? would be good to hear more about everybodys training if they tweet about it.
my twitter is @Jasonaxe23 I will follow anyone back who is doing outlaw.
Im hoping to sneak on the turbo on xmas day!
I dont tweet my taining but I do log it on fetch which is linked to face book so everyone can see my training.
I failed miserable today, between work and asthma, it has been zero chance, so rest day it was tomorrow swim and run(well elipticle trainer)
Day 1 done. Although a rest day, it is one of the few occasions I can get in the pool so kicked off the intermediate plan. Swim set #33. One question, has anyone completed this or any other set? Our pool's sessions are limited to an hour so I managed 42 minutes of swimming and only 1900m of a planned 2500.
Also managed a core session at lunch.
On twitter as @danestanley
stanners..i don't do the swim sessions...i just swim and do the time suggested..........so I did an hours swim for sesion 33.and hopefully it will get easier and quicker
Good luck everyone
I tend to do my own thing when swimming, but I don't think I could finish those sessions in the time.
