12 mile Z2 run done in the snow yesterday. took 1h 50min but was a bit hard going at times. was planning to swim this morning but roads not clear yet so am going to take a rest day instead and try and fit it in later in the week.
Good news I caved and ordered som yaktrax pro, so in 3-5 business days I can predict there will be no snow or ice left near Norwich.
At least it means that either way I will be able to run by the end of the week.
Tried out my new Garmin Edge 810 on the Turbo yesterday, fab bit of kit very pleased although Heart Rate monitor needs some tweking as it was either way too low or way to high! Loved raing my virtual partner got me shifting a bit more than I would have otherwise and my average HR worked out in Z2 so I'm calling it good.
Aiming for a full weeks traning this week althogh I can turbo instead of run until the snow goes or yaktrax arrive.
Am working away and didn't bring training plan. Could someone tell me what fink prescribed for week 7 of competitve please. Tues to Friday just running and cycling required.
Am going to concentrate on swimming as missed both sessions last week and there is nice pool in hotel but want to at least match the other sessions.
i might be stating the obvious but why dont you use your phone camera and photograph the section - its not ideal but if you travel a bit at least youll always have it

arms hurt today swimming....must have been the snow shovelling
1 hr swim, sauna, yoga. 45 min turbo.. 15 min run.now time
If I can't get out on the bike soon i am going to go mad..........not only swim sessions to endure inside but now bike sessions
1 hour swim on a non swim day. Makes me feel good

I did do 5 mins in the sauna and 1min of that doing yoga!! Can't be bothered to do more. Swimming makes me so tired
