I was one of the fortunate ones whose electricity was ok so I didn't have to go to Worthing it was other runners. I'm currently looking at start out of my bedroom window caffeine loading. Weather is as good as we could hope for! Runners congregating already. Enjoy your day everyone and trust in your training you all know how hard you've worked
Trigger 2 yes thats right only showing the highlights on the 20th , oh and if you want to enter next year it opens for entries monday midnight into tuesday...
Thanks Yvonne - couldn't defer this year's entry so might be tempted but will wait to see how a 10k I've got scheduled at end of May pans out - problems with a knee injury at the mo.
Bit slower this year in 3.27 (compared to 3.08) but still super happy - the crowds were even better once again! Superb volunteers and support from everyone.
Ran out of fairy dust at Mile 16, with a 1.31 and 1.57 split, the last 10 miles were OUCH. Also had cramp in my left calf at 5K marker, so after that I was pleased to finish!
My Tutu & Fairy wings seemed to be well liked... Running London next week - "26.2, you are my bitch!"
Well done to everyone, I hope you all achieved your goals and most of all ENJOYED it all, and I look forward to reading the updates over the next few days as I am a serial lurker.
Best wishes x
PS. did anyone else notice it was a slightly long course? At mile 9-10 it added on 0.12miles and stayed that way throughout the rest of the run?
I ran 4h28m03s (Garmin time), and was aiming for sub 4h30m, so am delighted! What an increadible atmosphere, beats any race I've ever done. Lovely weather too, the winds were not as strong as expected. Hope everyone else enjoyed it as much as I did (apart from the bits where I nearly died of sore legs, i.e. miles 18-26 )
Unfortunately not a sub-3 for me but a PB by just under 8 mins. Got a good for age time, 3:06:05. Really struggled last 5. Had to lose the wig after 7 miles as way too hot.

You're all probably too busy to reply but I'll ask anyway. Have only found coverage on Channel 4 next Saturday - is there any today?

2:52 for me and I'm delighted. Huge thanks to Mitch for keeping me company for 10+ miles
I was hoping for a sub 3, I ran 2:58:58

I think the word you're looking for is 'complete', David.
Massive congrats Tracey, Matt, Ryan, Neil
My only previous marathon was Edinburgh 2010, which I did in 4h59m, so very happy with a big PB too!
Oh, PS: hello everyone! Just popped in here to see how you all did, so congratulations. Didn't mean to hijack thread with off-topic stuff.
DF3, I didn't even mention any of the grammatical 'flaws'.
TraceyG - well done on PB

Fabulous atmosphere, and I got round my first ever marathon in 4:28 so I'm happy.
Bath followed by beer now
