It's cool to be able to talk to you guys in real time, so to speak.
Sorry to hear of the injuries as they are always frustrating. I don't know how many of you are running FLM, but you still have plenty of time to recover. Have a nice day.
I go to work. The system has been a*rse upwards since Friday evening. I've come back home to get some papers so will take 10 mins. out to annoy you all.
DavidB. I would,of course, settle for just the salacious bits. Thinking it through logically, how could I get the complete works with a stick of rock? Explain.
Witchie. That's the last time I lend you anything of mine without a deposit. How do I explain at home that we are dibberless? JJ
Meerkat. Sounds like big problems. Can you do any other forms of exercise so that you can at least maintain some level of fitness? I suspect that will generate a number of interesting suggestions. JJ
SJR I thought you'd had a good weekend. I've been avoiding mentioning Leeds but with that chairman I suspect they would have come apart at the seams even if they hadn't sold anyone. Anyone heard the saying 'there are no bad soldiers, only bad officers'? Applies here methinks. JJ
Chimp - could definately do with tea, grapes, choccies too. (sigh) Six months ago I'd never have dreamed that I'd miss running. JJ - not too big a problem I hope, but certainly muscle imbalance leading to knee cap jabbing into soft bits. Interested to hear unusual suggestions for cross-training...removing last year's runner bean stalks from trellis has been the most exciting so far. Hi Jim - so sorry about Columbia over the weekend.
Meerkat, just found a site that explains a bit about some of the muscles that have unbalanced my knee (and maybe yours?), not sure what the medical term is for a constant pain in the medialis, but here's the url
JJ - stems snipped at the base in order to get maximum nitrogen fix (phew!). Helen W - many thanks for that. I'll nip off and read it. Ron the pod's orthotics feel good, even though I've only run in them twice before being banned. Chimp - how about DavidB? - AWUT (absent in underwear thread)
Chimp - you're sounding remarkably chipper considering! Also, being 'crocked' suggests that recovery may be possible - LUFC need a category all of their own.
Things are quiet on the US site today. I think we're all still upset over the space shuttle incident this weekend. Thanks to those of you who posted condolences.
Evening, all. Well, I've been out all day dragging myself round the film agencies looking for my next project, but the word on the street is that a piglet with a damaged shank is only good for lentil soup. Still, there's apparently an outside chance of a cameo role on Vets in Practice.
Helen W- somehow I'd managed to miss the fact that you have a bad knee! I'm v. sorry to hear it! How did it happen?
Meerkat - you're injured too! Very best of luck with the horrible quad stretches, and mucho sympathico on not being able to run for 2 weeks! :-( Do you think the thread itself could be diseased? JJ said he was sickening over the weekend, and I see that DavidB has a sore throat. Are we all crumbling away? (Hey, can we sue RW??)
Chimp - yum, please send chocs and champagne urgently to:
Wee Piglet The Sty The Windy Hollow (Behind the Barn) The Moors North Yorkshire
Jim C - well done on Saturday's racing: it sounds like a great day Nice to see you here again, Witchy1

Except for my favourite Mr Smith, but it's only a matter of time.

Sorry JJ. Glen was around on Saturday which admittedly is poor for him but not quite "mising in action" yet.
Dont you care about him?

>>cough, splutter!<<
Not a game that anyone else in the Premiership seems to be playing, but a game nonetheless!
Boo! (training for tomorrow night) Booooo!

I hope all of the UK injured heal quickly!
Your US title is impressive. Master implies we excel at something. Have fun.
