Im not in any but still a cracking set of photos Perth Road Runners - well done so quick getting online and so clear. You really get a sense of the fab weather looking at the short shadows and good to see the scenery again. We need more global warming me thinks. Ace weekend and I didnt even get drunk.
Hi everyone. I have just got back from my holiday in Fort William. It was lovely to meet a few of you. It was a lovely race. My time was down on what i had thought due to very bad back ache and the heat. Still, it was a PB and i struggled to the finish. Does anyone have a copy of the group photo taken just before the start? Oh and Hippo, i was right at the back!Although i was a bit miffed to miss out on the last finishers prize, i think they forgot about me and gave it to the person in front! Thanks to all the marshalls in the race and the woman who drove out to offer me an extra energy drink. Also thanks to the St Andrews Ambulance guy who kept stopping to make sure i was ok.
Hi Biastai - You are looking for me? Yes I was number 64. The programme was wrong and showed me as a male. Have told the organisers and they said they would change it on the computer.
Think I must have had a sex change but someone forgot to tell me.
Sorry to take so long to answer this but have been at the Balmoral 10K today. Really enjoyed it.
I was the guy that past you going the other way and said that 64 was the number I had on my first Marathon at Blackpool last year. But by then I don't know if you were compus mentus enough to remember.
Speaking to my mate earlier, he saw you also. I was wondering how you got on and what time you finished.
Bizare you see name on the forum and never put a character to the name properly.
Hi Biastai - Must have a mental blip because I can't remember. At what mile was that? Remind me and it may come back.
I really struggled the second half and several times wanted to pull out. I said I would get to 16 and stop and then said to myself I would pull out at 20. After that I just kept plodding on and as each mile passed thought it would be silly to get so far and stop. Maybe I was stupid but I did finish.
With the 1.5 hour early start I finished in 7.03 which is a PW by 2.5 hours!!!!

I was at the back too and there is one of me, thankfully not too clear though.
Orange and blue about fourth or fifth from top.
Can I ask what number you were at Lochaber. I think I spoke to you and am trying to work out if it was you, or not.
Cheers!
I was 44
Can anyone help me find no 64?

Isn't it a bit of an anti-climax when you dont have a marathon to run at the weekend?
No 64 was a woman! Unless there were two no 64's???
Glad you're pleased about the toenail. Amazing what we runners are made happy by...
Just spotted Nessies post.
SPEEDYG! You out there?
