And welcome Pllumby - sounds like you are having a 'mare so will send up some special prayers before the race (may as well not wait until Mile 17 huh?)
I'll also keep a supply of my *special* pain killers (not coloured either yellow OR green )
Are we all getting excited yet? I did my last run today before Paris on Sunday
* Looks under comfy chair to see if naughty Barlos is about and then spreads out some more Jelly babies of all colours and jaffa cakes for the runners*
hehehe I stood under a bridge and waited for it to pass before carrying on. It cost me my sub 5 though. If I'd known I would be so close I would have HTFU and run through it.
Hello Group 6 runners. Hope the training is going well.
I mentioned on the main support thread that I will be a roving supporter, following Fat Face around where I can so I may not actually make it Mudchute, so best to email the other group supporters if you would like anything in particular. I need to work out timings and public transport options, and whether I can get from Mudchute to mile 22 in time.
I ran in a bit of the hail last year but just happened to be coming through the underpass along Embankment at the time. I was soaked through by the time I got to the finish - worth it though.
Hello fellow group 6 runners and big hello to supporters. Training going well and fingers crossed now hoping for sub 2hr 30 finish. Just won the recent East Hull 20 mile in 1hr 50. Look out for me in the blue and gold of Cleethorpes. Will have Martin on the vest, will provide number when I dig out the paperwork. Dont need any special requirements i.e jelly babies etc but a big cheer would be most welcome
Good luck all, as it gets closer my pleasure at not having had to do all the training in bad weather has switched to slight jealousy that i will not be runing this year...only slight
Wow scarf fast or what. I'll defo get Group 5 cheering for you but you're that fast you might not have time to hear us!! I'm blown over you're a superstar !!! Good luck hope you get your sub 2.30
Weather here was great yesterday, but I didn't have time to plod, now today is grey and cold and I have a run scheduled!!
Thanks for the veggie jellies yesterday Happy!! It's the gelatin in sweets that I can't have. I'll have to scout some 'safe' sweets to hand in at the expo.
Aw fankyew Tiptoes. I'll be shopping at some time between now and FLM though so don't stress over it!!
I've offered to leave normal jelly babies and sarnie bags at the expo for the support crews to use... Is there anything I can sort out for any of our group to help our supporters out? [within reasonable and legal limits!!].
last 20miler this weekend if my body holds out..all sorts of niggles are appearing, achilles pain, groin pain, half a tooth falling out, pulled side muscle picking the dog up..I'm falling to pieces!!!! At least tonights 6.5miles passed without any major incidence...

Fruit Jelly anyone?
mmmmmmmm JELLY BABIES
Managed 1 good for age. also with running for a club that marshals the LM we are given 6 places which in turn a balloted to those who marshalled.
So guess lucky is the short answer
Cool
Sun's out again. Is it too early to start speculating about the weather?
Strawberrys and cream can be arranged
You don't fancy the hail we had last year then?
