AJH - Rutland is a lovely place to visit, well so I have been told. We are going to go there next year and ride our bikes. I have got lots of leaflets on the place. Mr H will have a fab time with his camera.
19 miles training run for me this morning which i completed in 2.57. Was struggling a bit at the end as I did not take any gels with me! Still a few more weeks of hard training to go, how is everyone else doing?
Also does anyone know if there will be eergy drinks given out on the day or just water?
Set a PB for a half marathon (Grunty Fen in 1h 42m 17s) a couple of weeks ago and then went out to do 15 miles last weekend and my calf went boom! Have left running for a week and it feels a bit better. Did a steady 10k yesterday with it in a Vulkan Shin support and it's probably not right. Off for a sports massage tomorrow and then a chat with a physion I haven't had to visit for a while.
I'm booked up for the Spitfire 20 next weekend so fingers crossed ....
Mark - hope the shin mends soon I have my track marathon next week then a couple of weeks of settled training. I may try and blag a snowdon place if any one knows of one going
