USB you got my vote good luck, last year peeps went on to other forums to drum up support.
Hi Mr K long time no see.
Tom enjoy your holiday and forget about the sharks until you her durdum, durrdumm, durrdumm. If you tip the staff (10 Egyptian pounds=£1) they will look after you like a king, havea great time. The airport is a bit mad as its run by the army, but I am still wishing I was going with you.
Thanks Fiona... A good day off yesterday meant I did a nice progressive 5k on the treadmill this morning. Followed with a weights session and some core and stretches. Plan 10k tomorrow morning as we are going to see jimmy Carr tomorrow eve.
Have a nice holiday Tom.
USB, I have voted too. Good luck. Good to hear folk getting out and about in milder weather...
Have voted too. The only category in which I have voted as I didn't know any of the other contestants. Good luck - I really hope you win. I tried last year and didn't even make the shortlist
Had to can my 12 mile run this morning because of SNOW. It was like a blizzard out there so that the icy patches that I dodged successfully yesterday were hidden. Just back from a lunchtime 5-miler in the sunshine . Very cold wind here but the snow is now melting and it was lovely to run in daylight.
Thanks for the welcomes - not posting too much nowadays - life eh.
I`m still doing marathons & ultras but disappointed with my London (04:00:08). Moved on with some fun at North Devon (!!!), then the JW Ultra (04:54:08), Abingdon (03:39:41), Athens (03:57:30) & last week`s Benidorm (03:45:18) - fell away quite badly during the last parts of Abingdon & Benidorm (Both `raced`). Seems I can run comfortably but fade if 15 mins faster. Planning longer stuff next year.
Just over 10 miles at lunch time, swim and 5 mile recovery tomorrow. Mr K well done with the group of sub 4 hr marathons. Gobo might of given up pizza but not running in shorts. Fiona same here 0 might get my shorts out!!!!!!!!.......

I have, have you?
Up early for swimming club so off to bed now!
All I shall say is I have at least 3 races between now and the end of Feb that are marathon or longer.
Admit I laughed when I saw Joes mile reps and shall now confess that this weekend sees me doing 4 or 5 days of pretty hard running.
Started my prep by taking a morning off :¬)
Very best of luck USB!!
Hope you managed your run today chickadee.
Cold and icy 45 minutes for me this morning.
Oh nearly forgot, have a wonderful holiday TomS
Thanks Zion.
I've just cast my vote, good luck USB.

Hi Mr K
Much milder here this morning, zero degrees feels tropical. 6 miles on TM this morning.
A morning off Gobi - you must have something planned for later in the day!

Voted for Bridget too
Like Gobi I haven't given up on shorts yet, although the -4c run on Tuesday did make me think about getting the longs out
Nice temperate 2c here today, still a fair bit of ice about. Shame I couldn't get out for long today but managed 3.7 miles offroad at 7:16/mile pace.
3m tempo run tonight with 1m either side slow. Splits were 7:20, 7:30, 7:25. I kept having to slow down for the icy patches!
Having a nose round the threads it seems that Bridget is the popular choice as she is the only forumite.
I've got 781 to go to 10,000
KnightRider is active on the sub 3.15 thread I believe but as you say the vibes are positive Mr Spoons
Nearly all of them rubbish and pointless.
oh well
