Shakespeare is fairly flat, a couple of lumps in the first part of each lap but there must be at least a third if not half of the race on the Greenway with is as flat as a flat thing being an old railway line.
I read the last couple of posts too fast and thought we'd moved on from musicals to Shakespeare.
I didn't like Les Mis. It's undoubtedly a great production, great music, great set. It just wasn't my thing. I loved The Lion King, I think that's an amazing production. Have seen Cats at least twice and lost count on how many times I've been to see Rocky Horror.
My all time fave musical is Joseph. I've lost count of the number of times I've seen it. Saw it twice with Jason Donovan as lead as well as Phillip Schofied and many productions since then
Symes - you've got yourself a date. Me and Mrs P can get some culture while you Boys get drunk
Husband and I have been to the ballet a couple of times. We thought that was rather fun. We've seen Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake and The Car Man. I'd always wanted to see The Mousetrap but found it rather boring when I went. I think it was a bit like watching an Alfred Hitchcock film, everyone has copied it so much, it's lost its edge. I think the things that I have seen that have made the most lasting impact would be War Horse, The Woman in Black and The Lion King.
Me too Mousie and I've only worked two days this week. Thank crunchie for having annual leave to use up, I will have at least one short week every month until the end of March.
I've sat on my bum the past two days watching Once Upon a Time. Sheer laziness but I cannot cope with anything else at this point in time, no room in my brain.
I might have to carve out a small partition to sing the greatest Les Miz songs. Can I get some clarification from her Meldyness as to the potential jaunt down the GUCR for next years birthday celebrations?
