Once it's gone, I'll be back to healthier eating. The rest of today I've been eating fruit, had home made soup and a roll for lunch, and loads of veggies with tea
New year's day hasn't been the best start but like I say, got work party tomorrow so promise to go in whole heartedly on Thursday.....not looking like anything will be lost on Saturday weigh in!

Sounds good Aitch. The ice cream thing was left over from Christmas, but we've just about finished all the really rich stuff now, so I should be better at healthy eating. I don't own scales, but I can try on my worst fitting blouse each week or so to judge if I'm getting thinner.
Son loaded his photos from last night. I've got about 4 chins, arms the size of Nam's mates, and a 6 month pregnant looking tummy .
Exercise today: running up and down back steps with loads of washing, heaving quilts round on my machine (should count towards triceps trimming)
Fruit today: 1 glass OJ, parsnip soup (?) banana after lunch, asparagus, sweetcorn and brocolli with tea. I won't count the fruity ice cream
Just had my Mum's vegetable lasagne for tea, was yummy! <<whispers>> might have accidently had an insy wincy slice of apple pie too but sssshhhhhh. SOOOO Thursday *smiles*
Did I mention that in addition to the biscuits I've also got 7 bottles on wine sitting on the other side of the room!!!!!!!!
I think I'm going to watch Benders then going to bed to save me eating or drinking anything. A bit drastic but I could probably do with the sleep before work tomorrow.
ah... early to beds.... yes that's something I'll have to tackle too....

I have to get up at 6am tomorrow
Oh and I need to cut down on the caffeine... I drink countless cups of coffee in the office (at least 6) but I have mine white with one sugar... The amount of sugar I go through must be frightening!!!
Ironically this thread will be easier for me to follow once I go BACK to work...tomorrow!! Thats when the plan starts....20 weeks til IMLZ and (realistically) 30+ pounds to lose. I'm clearing out the cupboards tonight (by eating everything!! LOL)...I'm going to make sure I have lots of soup available to sup on once the muchies hit and I'm cutting out (well drastically reducing) the wine I drink....I'll probably weigh in Friday mornings as Friday night will be my Glass Of Wine Night.
The only thing is that MrGFB and I are going to New York (baby) for 5 days starting on the 10th of Jan...so I have to try and be good then...I'm really excited at having this place of support!!
Our daughter is getting married on the 1st of July and I don't want to be the Mother Of The Bride From Fatsville!! (I refuse to wear a hat too!!)...MrGFB and I are both going to walk her down the aisle...so I'll be up there for everyone to see...motivation much!!

In the end my tea consisted on 1 poached egg on toast - no butter, but did have ketchup. Ohhh, and I sort of ate a Crunchie I found in the fridge - at 185 calories it was probably the best 'chocolate' I could eat
tbh not really sure what weight i want to be. but i'm doing my first mara in april (shakespeare) and i want to minimise the poundage i have to haul round with me!
hopefully joining this thread will keep me focussed despite not having an actual target.

Would having a second slice of lime and passion fruit ice cream tart be really bad, or would it count as a fruit portion?

I don't drink tea or coffee - does that mean I can drink wine

Eating strawberries with fromage frais and have made up a big saucepan of carrot and parsnip soup to keep me going.
Makes me feel slightly more virtuous after much picking at chocolate and oatcakes earlier today
