I know i went for a slow 5.3 mile jogette to see how the ankle is at 8.30am. The ankle was fine.... the weather was rather warm. I need to lie down to recover...out in the Sun..
Morning. I think I went to West Midlands Safari Park last year when we were camping in Stourport.
Am working from today as eldest threw up at breakfast club. He seems fine now (think it was the heat from yesterday and last night - our house gets very hot upstairs when it's sunny) although he can't go back to school until Thursday (school have a 48 hour rule and we can't sneak him back early as they know he threw up). Not sure if we should let him go to cubs tonight
Bad timing really - why couldn't he have been ill on the day of stage 18 or 19 when my wife might have found me rather too enthusiastic to work from home.
Hope everyone is ok. Well done on regaining your leg muscles Ant Wotsit - if I turn up at your house will you cook me a meal? I've got oven chips in at the moment and some cold chicken on the side. Tricky - we have a 48 hr rule as well but no-one ever pays it any attention - as a working parent i think 24 hours is fine!
Life is mad but we are off to Wimbledon on Saturday - court 1 not centre court but who cares, the atmosphere is the same
Oooh and we're going to the Olympics - Trickster - did you get tickets??
Flyaway's internet absence seems to have quietened everyone.
Could I please ask for some positive thoughts in my direction tomorrow? I have an interview. Between now and then I also need to lose my exhaustion and doldrums, pfft.
I am also back, did you miss me? I have taken a week off for race organisingness. It seemed to go ok and we've had lots of positive feedback.
I just need to catch up on a week's lost sleep and I've lost 7lbs.
How was Cornwall, Crashie? Good weather for it, wasn't it?
Good luck for Friday, Wotsit. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Flyers and Bassy stayed here for a couple of days last week. I managed not to kill Bassy by allergy to cat poisoning and also managed to prevent the kitten stealing Flyers' undies which are far more entertaining than mine.
